Beginning a New Tape

Starting a Tape:

  • Place labels on both sides of the new cassette.
  • On side A write the title of the book.
  • On side A write the page you are begining on.
  • Leave 10 seconds of blank recording on side A then state the following: Title of book, Author(s) of books, book edition, and more recent copyright year. Then state your name and the page you are beginning on.
  • If there are more than 2 authors: state the first author's name and the say "and others."
  • Then read as usual.
