Campus Visit

The single best way for you to figure out if Drake is the place for you is to visit campus. While you're here, you can tour buildings, common areas, and green spaces, and spend time with faculty and students. You can even have some Drake-style fun by enjoying on-campus events, as well as some of the recreation and dining options available in Des Moines.

Experiencing what Drake has to offer firsthand will help you get a feel for who we are, and your visit will allow us to get to know you and talk with you about how Drake can help you reach your goals.

To schedule a visit, choose one of the options listed below or contact your admission counselor to discuss what options would be the best fit for you.

Individual Visit

Individual visits to Drake University include a campus tour and a meeting with an admission counselor. Visitors can personalize their campus visit by requesting special appointments with professors in any academic department or staff members in other areas of interest.  These appointments are for juniors, seniors and transfer students, require at least a week's notice and cannot be guaranteed.

Coach Appointments:  Due to University policy the Office of Admission does not schedule coach appointments. Appointments with coaches are available based on NCAA guidelines and coaches travel schedules and, therefore, cannot be guaranteed. Drake University competes at the NCAA Division I level and encourages interested student athletes to contact coaches directly.

Please noteSame-day visit registrations cannot be processed online. To schedule a visit for TODAY, call the Office of Admission at (515) 271-2089.
