By supporting The Drake Fund you offer your strong endorsement of the University’s mission while providing Drake its most flexible tool for meeting the immediate needs of our students, faculty and staff.

Why is The Drake Fund so important to Drake?

          You are helping to provide an essential source of revenue that enables Drake to move forward on its Strategic Plan and continue providing for its daily needs.

          The health of a university can often be measured by the participation and interest of its alumni, parents and friends.

Each gift, regardless of size, helps sustain Drake University's quality and affordability.

What is Drake's fiscal year?

The Drake Fund recognizes gifts according to the University's fiscal year, which runs from June 1 to May 31.

What are the tax benefits of making a gift to Drake University?

  • All gifts to Drake University are tax deductible under current Federal Income Tax Regulations.

How will I be recognized?

Drake University recognizes all contributions by its constituents in an annual report. There are additional opportunities for recognition depending on where you make your gift. The President’s Circle recognizes contributions to The Drake Fund at a leadership level.
