Ty Myers enjoys an active career that includes a wide array of performing and teaching. He is Assistant Professor of Music and the Orchestra Director at Central College in Pella, Iowa as well as on the faculty at the Drake University Community School of Music. Ty also is the Principal Second violinist of the Fort Smith Symphony in Arkansas, and he performs as a soloist and chamber musician. During the summers, he teaches at the University of Arkansas Summer Music Camp where high school students from Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma travel to perform and study classical music.
