Jennifer Chase Williams, saxophone, holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Drake University, where she studied with Bob Long. Currently, Jennifer is pursuing her Master's in Music Education degree at VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. While at Drake, she studied clarinet with Clarence Padilla, and flute from the late Dr. Patricia Shinehouse. Jennifer performed with the prestigious Drake University Jazz Ensemble One at the North Sea Jazz Festival in 2001. She also performed with the Drake Wind Symphony at CBDNA in 2000.Jennifer has performed with various artists, including Bobby Shew, Bob Mintzer, and Maria Schneider. She had been teaching band in the Des Moines Metro area for seven years.
