Connections to the world; Arts & Sciences faculty members are active professionals in their fields, each semester publishing articles, presenting scholarly work at disciplinary conferences, writing plays, performing fieldwork, giving recitals, conducting lab research, building theatre sets, and exhibiting artwork to stay on the cusp of the most current developments in their disciplines. Arts and Sciences faculty also share their worldwide connections with students through travel courses to Ecuador, Egypt, England, India, Mexico, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, and Washington, D.C.
