Dean's Office

Whatever your passion, whatever your plan: we're here to help you find your way.

While your faculty adviser in your department can best answer specific questions about your major field of study, the Dean's office staff can provide academic information and advice, discuss and interpret general education requirements, and explain options within and between academic programs.

Contact the Dean's office to ensure that you're on track to graduate on time, submit forms to change a major or minor, add or drop a course, petition to waive specific graduation requirements, register for an independent study, or request to register for more than 18 credit hours in a semester, or if you encounter an emergency or unforeseen situation that affects your academic performance.

Office Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

To schedule an appointment:

Please call 515-271-3939 or email marybeth.holtey@drake.edu or jennifer.tran@drake.edu
