Administrative Program
Review Guiding Principles
The following principles have
been adopted by the Administrative Program Review Steering Committee. These principles
will guide the Committee's evaluation process, as well as its final recommendations
regarding administrative programs:
Institutional goals (and good) will take precedence over departmental and individual
employee goals (and good)
The process will respect the individual employee and will attempt to protect his/her
interests as much as possible, e.g.,
- provide outplacement assistance
- help with retraining
- negotiate transitional employment
- facilitate alternative employment
- etc.
All recommendations and/or decisions
will be carefully reviewed to assess the potential impact on students and to minimize
any adverse effects.
