Using the FRS System to get budget information Screen 019 - shows current year summary of accounts, including budget, actual dollars spent, and encumbrances incurred to date. This screen is used for your budgeted accounts (accounts that start with 1-xxxxx, 2-xxxxx, or 3-xxxxx). Screen 018 - shows the same information as screen 019 for the 0-xxxxx accounts. Screen 023 - gives the detail transactions for the activity summarized on 018 and 019. This detail is in fiscal year date order. You can look up activity on screen 023 at either the 6 digit account number or the 10 digit account number level. To obtain the above information for a prior fiscal year, go to screen 881. On this screen, tab to the fiscal year line and type in the year you wish to review. Example: to review fiscal year 1999 activity, tab to the fiscal year line and enter "99". Then tab back to the screen line and enter 019. The fiscal year can be changed manually by returning to screen 881. Any time you log off the system, the current fiscal year will be reset. Several prior years are available to you to review on-line in this manner. Note: When in a prior fiscal year, your detail transactions will be shown on screen P23. Screen 023 is not active for prior year information. In screen P23, the complete fiscal year detail is available for FY 98 and FY 99.
