Drake University seeks a proven academic leader with the skills, energy, and foresight to lead the College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA). Drake is a private, accredited university of approximately 5,000 students located in Des Moines, the capital city of Iowa.

As its chief officer, the dean of the CBPA is expected to provide visionary leadership in all areas of the college’s operation including the quality and innovative design of its academic programs, engaged research, effective administration, and community outreach and fundraising. The CBPA has over 1,100 undergraduate students and offers the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in accounting, actuarial science, data analytics, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, information systems, international business, management, and marketing. 

Part-time programs for graduate students enroll more than 300 students pursuing the Master in Financial Management, Master in Accounting, Master in Business Administration, or Master in Public Administration degree. The college has 53 full-time faculty in six departments.
