The Bark Tank Competition

Combining entrepreneurial spirit and passion to empower others, Drake students are invited to pitch innovative ideas before a panel of judges in The Bark Tank (formerly Project Bulldog). This is your chance to win up to $750 dollars when presenting your business, product, or idea.

 

2017 Bark Tank Competition

The 2017 Bark Tank Competition was held Saturday, November 4. The winners are:

  • 1st Place – Enigma Shipping, Kaleigh DeBont & Seth Hartman
  • 2nd Place – Drake App, Courtney McCuddin
  • 3rd Place – Schedule Tool, Kylie Busick & Kasey Clary
  • People's choice – Dr. Paws, Devon Lord & Isabel Trujillo

2014 Project Bulldog Competition Winner

Kai Asberry — Tailored. Kai later pitched his business before the Lorentzen Student Hatchery judges panel and was selected to join the Summer 2015 Lorentzen Student Hatchery cohort as Snippster.

 

2013 Project Bulldog Competition Winner

Naren Bhojwani — AP Lumina. Naren later pitched his business before the Lorentzen Student Hatchery judges panel and was selected to join the Summer 2014 Lorentzen Student Hatchery cohort.

Drake University will hold a commencement ceremony this month to celebrate the accomplishments of 325 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students who completed their degree requirements as of the conclusion fall 2017 semester.
