  (1) I have posted copies of the 3rd midterm exam and answer
key, and an updated gradesheet, at the course web page
(http://www.drake.edu/cbpa/econ/boal/174). Also posted is
Homework 7 is due Thursday 5/9. (There was a bad link, but
Mihir Bhatia alerted me to it and it is now fixed.)
  (2) The final exam will be given at 7:30am on Friday 5/17,
as required by the Registrar. The final exam is
comprehensive. To prepare, I recommend studying the
midterms, including the versions you did not take.
  (3) Course grades will be computed using the formula given
in the syllabus:
            SCORE = 60% x M + 30% x F + 10% x H,
where M = the average of your best 2 midterms, H = your
average homework score, and F = your final exam score in
percent. Then if your SCORE is 90 or above you get an "A",
80 or above a "B", 70 or above a "C", 60 or above a "D", and
below 60 a fail.
  (4) Often students ask me how well they must do on the final
exam to get an "A" in the course (or a "B" or a "C"). To
find out, simply substitute your values for M and H in the
formula. For an "A", substitute 90 for SCORE and solve for
F. For a "B", substitute 80 for SCORE and solve for F. For
a "C", substitute 70 for SCORE and solve for F, etc.
