Background:
Susan Leeson has held several staff and managerial positions during her career as a pharmacist. As Pharmacy Manager, she opened new pharmacies for Shopko and Target in Dubuque. In addition to her retail experience, she has also worked in hospital and institutional pharmacy settings. Her most recent employer was Sam's Club, retiring in 2014.

She collaborated wth members of the Dubuque Area Pharmacist's Association to present the Iowa Pharmacy Association's "Katy's Kids" program to 1st grade students. She also served as President of the Dubuque Girl's Club and Visiting Nurse Association. She was a member of the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra League and Finley Hospital Sunshine Circle.

Her husband and three daughters are Drake graduates. After retirement she and her husband relocated to Urbandale, to be close to the extended family.

Susan enjoys designing vintage style jewelry for the National Czech Museum gift store in Cedar Rapids. Her pieces have also been worn by several actresses on various television shows.
