Drake’s accelerated bachelor of science in nursing program receives Iowa Board of Nursing approval

Drake University’s commitment to excellence in health care education took a significant leap forward as the Iowa Board of Nursing approved the University’s nursing program proposal and curriculum for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. In addition, the Higher Learning Commission has granted approval of the program, and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) has determined that the program is eligible to pursue ACEN Candidacy status. These milestone approvals set the stage for the enrollment of students beginning in the fall of 2024, marking a new era of opportunity for aspiring nurses in the heart of Iowa.
