Student Chapter of ASP wins award at APhA Annual Meeting

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Student Chapter of ASP received an award and plaque at the recent APhA meeting in San Diego (March 14-17, 2008) for the Operation Heartburn activity at the Iowa State Fair.  Accepting the award were members Marie Marcelino and Sara Newton.

The Drake CPHS Students were the region 5 winners out of competitors such as Creighton, Minnesota, NDSU, SDSU, Wyoming, University of Iowa, University of Nebraska Medical Center for the Heartburn Awareness Challenge.  Marie Marcelino and Annelise Nelson are the co-chairs for the local chapter.
