Phi Lambda Sigma Inducts New Members

Phi Lambda Sigma, the National Pharmacy Leadership Society inducted 14 new pharmacy students into membership on Thursday, November 29, 2007.  Students inducted were selected by their ability to demonstrate "dedication, service, and leadership in the advancement of pharmacy."

The following members were inducted into Phi Lambda Sigma:

Lynn Anliker, Erick Borg, Priya Desai, Mallory Heath, Jennifer Lose, Marie Marcelino, Annelise Nelson, Jamie Oltmann, Daphne Pearson, Randi Ridgeway, Seema Soni, Steph Swain, Kelly Zieman, Kristen Zorich

Congratulations to the new Phi Lambda Sigma members!

The purpose of Phi Lambda Sigma, also known as the National Pharmacy Leadership Society, is to promote the development of leadership qualities, especially among pharmacy students. By peer recognition, the Society encourages participation in all pharmacy activities.  Members are selected by peer recognition. No greater honor can be bestowed upon an individual than to be recognized as a leader by one's peers. Such recognition instills and enhances self-confidence, encourages the less active students to a more active role and promotes greater effort toward the advancement of pharmacy.
