Wrenn and Students Publish Results of their Research

College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Assistant Professor Craige Wrenn, along with two Doctor of Pharmacy Students Natalie Bainbridge PH07 and Lisa Koselke PH10, and fellow colleagues at the NIH Laboratories of Bioorganic Chemistry and Behavioral Neuroscience have published results of their research on the M2 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor and its role in learning and memory impairment.

Currently available on-line and scheduled for publication in the June 26th issue of the journal of Behavioural Brain Research, this research replicates and extends earlier findings in a hybrid mouse line and solidifies the critical role played by the M2 receptor in specific components of cognitive abilities.

The article can be accessed on line at doi:10.1016/j.bbr.2008.02.001 or via the following citation: Bainbridge NK, Koselke JR, Jeon J, et al.  Behavioral Brain Research 2008; 190(1):50-58.
