Metacrawler. This search engine searches all the other major search engines simultaneously to find the best matches on all the 'Net. You can cutomize how fast it is and how thorough the search, but this guy is no speed demon.
OpenText. This site's claim to fame is the ability for phrase searching, eliminating many of those "undesirable" links.
