Course Overview
Algebra is not just solving equations. Algebra has been defined as the mathematics of generalized arithmetical operations (word.net.princeton.edu) Algebra takes basic mathematical operations (add/subtract/multiply/divide) and adds variables to solve many other problems instead of just computations. Algebra is the starter course, if you will, to the rest of the mathematics any student will learn. This course is designed to help teachers teach all the aspects of algebra: number operations, ratios and proportions, reasoning functions, data analysis, and probabilities.

This course is offered through Pearson.
