John Fender, Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Drake University, discusses the 2013 Anderson Gallery exhibit "The Material Aspect: 50 Years of Popular Music Packaging," curated by Fender. John will share images of the installation and discuss the historical and aesthetic basis of the exhibition as well as sharing some select tracks from some of his favorite albums.
Refreshments will be available.
