Applying to Drake's Graduate Programs

School of Education Application Checklist
  • Completed application form
  • $25 application fee
  • Official transcripts from every college or university you've attended
  • A copy of your current professional resume or curriculum vitae
  • A copy of an essay indicating why you wish to pursue the program
  • Official test scores from one of the following tests: GRE, MAT or  Drake Writing Competency Test
  • 2 letters of recommendation (see requirements for correct form)

College of Business and Public Administration Application Checklist
  • Completed application form
  • $25 application fee
  • Official transcripts from every college or university you've attended
  • A copy of your current professional resume or curriculum vitae
  • A copy of an essay indicating why you wish to pursue the program (Not required for MPA)
  • Official GMAT test scores (not required for MPA)
  • 2 letters of recommendation

Master in Communication Leadership Application Checklist
  • Completed application form
  • $25 application fee
  • Official transcripts from every college or university you've attended
  • A copy of your current professional resume or curriculum vitae
  • Portfolio Presentation
  • Official test scores from either the GRE or GMAT (only required for applicants who have been out of school less than five years)
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • Interview with the Graduate Chair
