Honors Retreat 2008

 

The first ever Honors fall retreat was held September 5-6, 2008 at Camp Hantesa in Ledges State Park. A total of 33 students made the 40 minute trip to Ledges and took part in hiking, group games, a campfire, and other enjoyable activities.

 

 

Students also took part in a short service project on Saturday morning to help clean up the grounds around the camp.

 

 

This event was so successful, that the Honors Council plans to make this retreat an annual event that's geared towards, but not limited to, first year students curious about the Honors Program.
