Since this program is spread out across the country, you may ask yourself "so, who is actually working with the students?" 

Dr. Jan Marston (Drake University) is Director of the Virtual Language Studies Program.  She was the visionary of the program.  She coordinates the program, working with the schools, the course developers, and she also facilitates the Native Speaker course. 

Dr. Pete Smith (University of Texas at Arlington) works with us on the vision of the program and the development of Russian courses.

Clayton Mitchell (Drake University) works on the technology side of the program.  He both makes sure that the technology is there so that students can be "in-class" with each other across the country, but also assists in showing them technological tools that will assist them in learning language in a more effective way.
