MyDUSIS
General Information
During the Spring 2003 semester, Drake University began using the web-based self-service product from SungardHE. This product allows Drake students, employees and alumni to access their records and other information within the integrated administrative software system. That system is titled DUSIS, an acronym for Drake University Shared Information System. The self-service portion is titled MyDUSIS.
Accessing MyDUSIS
MyDUSIS may be accessed from within blueView, the Drake University web portal. blueView can be accessed at blueView.drake.edu. The MyDUSIS channel is on the blueView Home tab. Many MyDUSIS functions exist in separate channels on the Student Services, Faculty and Employee tabs within blueView as well for easy access to the most commonly used features like registration and grades.
The MyDUSIS Channel
The main menu that is displayed when clicking the link within the MyDUSIS channel contains general information links to the DUSIS data such as the Catalog course descriptions and the term by term Schedule of Classes. Some menu items within the MyDUSIS channel menu are common to all Drake MyDUSIS users, such as the Personal Information link which contains options that allow the user to change their address among other items, or the Survey link which allows the user to respond to official Drake surveys like course evaluations or employee surveys. An individual’s various roles determine what other menu items appear, such as Alumni, Faculty & Advisor, Student, Employee, etc.
