Conference Calls
The telephone system allows faculty/staff to make conference calls using their Rolm telephones. Up to 8 parties can be added with 4 being external calls and 4 being internal calls.

To start a conference call, call the 1st party and get them on the line, push the transfer button to get dial tone and call the 2nd party, after they answer push the transfer button again to connect the 1st and 2nd parties. To add a 3rd party, push the transfer button to get dial tone and call the third party, after they answer push the transfer button to add them the 1st and 2nd parties.
If you need to hold a conference call that has more than 4 external callers, please call Telecommunications at x1919 and we will setup the call with an outside vendor.
Telecommunications also has Polycom Speakerphones that we check out to use when needing to communicate to a caller with a number of people in one room.
