Outstanding Organization Award
This award is given to a student organization that has demonstrated a high level of commitment and involvement impacting the campus or community environment in a positive way. The organization accomplished this by promoting the university's mission through its activities.

Outstanding President/Chairperson Award
This award is given to a student organization president or chairperson who has demonstrated outstanding leadership. This student's work represents the ideals of the organization and his or her innovative ideas have strengthened the character of the organization and fostered campus unity.

Outstanding Residence Hall Leader Award
This award is given to a student who possesses strong leadership characteristics and exhibits an outstanding commitment to building community in their on-campus living environment. This student has assisted and encouraged residents' personal and academic growth through student development activities.

Drake Service Awards - Individual and Organizational
These awards may recognize Drake students and/or Drake student organizations who take an active part in their communities. These students and/or organizations are committed to community service work, respectfully interact with others, and work to better society in areas of education, health and involvement.

TOP PROGRAM AWARDS
Programs nominated for these awards were presented between spring break 2008 and spring break 2009.

Outstanding Educational Program Award
This award is given to the organization sponsoring an educational event that enlightened campus understanding and awakened interest in the Drake community. The event presented information in an interesting and informative manner for the campus.

Outstanding Social Program Award
This award is given to an organization sponsoring a social event that not only entertained but fostered awareness and understanding within the campus community.

Outstanding Diversity Program Award
This award is given to the organization sponsoring an event that fosters appreciation of cultural differences and promotes positive advances.

Outstanding Weekend  Alcohol Alternative Program Award
This award is given to the organization sponsoring an event on Friday or Saturday night that offers an entertaining alternative to alcohol use.
