Drake University Community Chorus

The Drake University Community Chorus (DUCC) is a non-auditioned ensemble open to all Drake University students, faculty, and staff, as well as interested singers in the Des Moines area.

The ensemble typically consists of 100+ singers and rehearses weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30pm-8:00pm. The first rehearsal for this spring will be on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 6:30pm in Sheslow Auditorium. There is no fee for membership and no audition, although singers purchase their own music. DUCC performs at the end of each semester and sings both major choral/orchestral works and a variety of smaller works of many styles. The ensemble is conducted by Greg Sojka.
