Breaking New Ground in Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has long been a leader in pharmacy education. Now it is extending its leadership role into technology and entrepreneurship. In May 2001, the College was awarded a Palm, Inc. medical grant and received 120 Palm IIIc units, with the stipulation that the PDAs be used for patient care, as well as a data entry component. In other words, they could not just be used to provide drug information.
