'LET'S DU LUNCH' SPEAKER SERIES TO BEGIN SEPT. 1

John Pappajohn, president of Pappajohn Capital Resources, a venture capital firm, will open Drake University's fall "Let's DU Lunch" speaker series on Wednesday, Sept. 1. Pappajohn's speech is titled "Adventure Capital."

The luncheon series, which is open to the public, is sponsored by the Drake University Central Iowa Alumni Chapter and the Greater Des Moines Partnership.

The series will continue on Oct. 6 with Mark Oman, group vice president of Wells Fargo and Co., discussing "Wells Fargo - Growing an already Strong Organization. The fall series will conclude Nov. 3 with a speech by Miriam Erickson Brown, president and chief operating officer of Anderson Erickson Dairy. She will discuss the latest research on dairy products as well as how milk marketing and the dairy business is changing.

All of the luncheons will start at 11:30 a.m. in the Younkers Tea Room in downtown Des Moines. The cost is $15 per luncheon or $36 in advance for all three events.
