William Glasser, renowned psychiatrist, author and lecturer, will lead a day-long
seminar at Drake University Saturday, Oct. 26, in Parents Hall in Olmsted Center,
29th Street and University Avenue.
The event, which is titled “Every Child Can Succeed: Strategies for Successful Schools,”
is sponsored by the Drake School of Education and Green Valley Area Education Agency
14 in cooperation with the Mid-American Region of the William Glasser Institute.
In his presentation, Glasser will explain how teachers can build competence and eliminate
both failure and discipline problems in their classrooms. He also will discuss how

will give his presentation at 9 a.m. The cost per person, which is $95, includes
the continental breakfast and lunch.
