Linda S. Ryan

Executive Assistant to the President

Linda received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and her Masters of Science in Adult Learning, Performance and Development from Drake. She was a member of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute Class of 2002-2003 and served as a board member.  She is the immediate past board chair of the National Association of Presidential Assistants, a member of the Association of Governing Board’s Board Professionals, and past member of the Executive Women International. Her main duties include providing support for the Board of Trustees; overseeing all aspects of the President's calendar, travel, and internal and external special events; and coordinating ongoing strategic planning efforts. Prior to becoming Assistant to the President in 1992, Linda was the Assistant to the President in the Iowa Valley Community College District.
