Drake University is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment in which all members of our community can thrive and reach their full potential.
Sexual assault, dating and domestic violence and stalking harms both individuals and the community as a whole. Drake University is dedicated to the prevention of these types of violence through education and support, institutional oversight, and clear, vigorously enforced policies. When sexual assault, dating/domestic violence and stalking does occur, the University’s goal is to help the victim/survivor and determine appropriate consequences for the accused.
The Office for Sexual Violence Response and Healthy Relationship Promotion is dedicated to the development, support and enhancement of creative prevention and effective intervention initiatives, which will attribute to the reduction of gender violence on campus. This office empowers students in their integrated learning experiences to foster personal and professional growth.
