What Next? 

In order to complete the admission process, you must submit the following: 

  • Drake University School of Education Graduate Application
  • Official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended
  • A copy of your current professional resume or curriculum vitae
  • An essay indicating why you wish to pursue the program, your personal and professional goals, and any past leadership experience (program specific requirements will differ)
  • Official test scores from one of the following tests:  Graduate Record Exam (GRE), Miller Analogy Test (MAT) or Drake Writing Competency Test
    • Doctoral Applicants must complete either the GRE or the MAT
    • Individuals applying to an endorsement which consists of less than 12 credit hours are exempt from testing requirements
    • MAT/MST Degree students must also submit Praxis 1 scores for admission to the program

  • Recommendation Letters (programs specific requirements will differ)
