Reading Endorsements
Program Details
Drake offers reading endorsements at the elementary and secondary level, as well as a professional strand option. Courses are offered on Drake's main campus and online. The average class size is 15 to 20 students.
Program Options
The Reading Endorsement is available in combination with the Bachelor of Arts in Education for Elementary Education, the Bachelor of Arts in Education for Secondary Education, the Master of Science in Teaching, the Master of Arts in Teaching and the Master of Science in Education in Effective Teaching and Learning. The Reading Professional strand is also available to Master of Science in Education in Effective Teaching and Learning for graduate students who already hold a reading endorsement.
Graduate-Level Program Information
Both elementary and secondary endorsements are available at the graduate-level. These are offered in a combination of face-to-face, online, and ICN formats.
