Summer offers students an opportunity to start a degree, to accelerate their program, to earn or renew a teaching certificate, to update professional skills, to catch up on courses, or to get a head start on them.  Courses are offered in a variety of ways--traditional classroom, via the web, during days and evenings.  Drake courses also can be transferred to your home school.

For individual questions regarding how your charges or your financial aid might be impacted by dropping an individual course or dropping all courses (a complete withdrawal), please contact the Office of Student Accounts, 515-271-2151, #4, for tuition and fee questions and the Office of Student Financial Planning, 515-271-2905, for questions regarding financial aid.

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Drake University reserves the right to cancel courses or change times, staff, or room assignments.
  • Drop deadlines for summer classes occur very soon after the class begins.  Students should understand the effect that the drop deadlines have on their billing and academic transcript.
