Nearly all Drake graduates (93 percent in 2004) find career employment or enter graduate school within six months after receiving their degrees. More than 72 percent of Drake students graduate having had one or more internships.

Financial Assistance:
Approximately 98 percent of Drake students receive financial assistance, including merit and need-based assistance. More than 5,000 scholarships and grants are awarded and more than $50 million in financial assistance is provided to Drake students annually.
Athletics:
A variety of men’s and women’s sports are offered at the intramural, club and intercollegiate levels. Men compete at the Division I level in basketball, soccer, cross country, track and field, golf and tennis in the Missouri Valley Conference and in football in the Pioneer League at the Division I non-scholarship level. Women compete at the Division I level in basketball, track and field, cross-country, golf, volleyball, tennis, softball and soccer in the Missouri Valley Conference, and at the Division I non-scholarship level in crew.

More than 150 acres within 10 minutes of downtown Des Moines; facilities include both modern architectural showplaces and buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
