Business and Public Administration

Earn your master’s degree at one of only four schools in Iowa—and the only private university—holding accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This is the gold standard in business education. Choose the Master of Accounting (M.Acc.), Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master of Financial Management (M.F.M.), or Master of Public Administration(M.P.A. offered in Des Moines, Ames, and Davenport). You can study full-time (except in the M.F.M.) or complete your entire degree part-time through evening and weekend study in as little as two years.

Journalism and Mass Communication

Prepare to lead a successful team or organization in today’s rapidly changing media and business environment through the Master of Communication Leadership. This is a part-time program, with courses in the evening and on weekends. Designed for experienced professionals, it combines coursework in communications and business.

Law

Meet leading jurists and legal thinkers, like the 11 Supreme Court Justices who have spoken on Drake’s campus through programs hosted by Drake’s Constitutional Law Center. Pharmacy

Enter a field of expanding opportunity by completing the Doctor of Pharmacy (or Pharm.D.) degree, a six-year program in two parts. The first part is a two-year pre-pharmacy curriculum you can enter directly from high school. The second is a four-year professional curriculum you can apply to after completing pre-pharmacy requirements at Drake or as a transfer student from another institution.
