This site is designed to act as a resource for the duration of your student's time at Drake University. Keep this link as a handy reference and use it often.
At Drake, we welcome and encourage parents to get involved in their students' education and invite you to make the most of your automatic membership in the Drake University Parents Association.
Parents Association Board members and University staff are ready and willing to answer your questions and listen to your ideas about your student’s education. As we look forward to your student joining us on campus, we also look forward to you joining our extended campus community. Welcome!
The Drake University Parents Association provides a variety of special events for parents, such as the Parents and Family Weekend, the President's Assembly and other activities designed to introduce you to the Drake faculty and administration.
If you are interested in participating in the Drake University Parents Association Board, please e-mail Melissa Sturm-Smith, Associate Provost for Academic Excellence and Student Success.
As a Drake parent, you will have a variety of channels available to you to both hear from Drake and to interact with Drake staff and other parents. These channels include:
blueView – Drake's online campus portal – is a password-protected web site with a tab designed for parents of Drake students.
Note: ID's for parents of fall 2013 first year students will be created and distributed during summer orientation in June. Please wait until then to receive your Drake ID and password.
PASSWORDS HAVE EXPIRED: blueView passwords expired in early September. If you had an ID and password that worked last year but no longer works, you'll need to get your password reset. To reset your password, please call the Drake Support Center at 515-271-3001 or 1-800-44DRAKE, ext 3001.
