International Students & Scholars

More than 300 international students from over 50 countries study at Drake University. The International Center provides pre-arrival information, arrival and orientation services, immigration advice, and special programs. Volunteers in the Des Moines community also offer a host family program.

The International Center is located in The Point at 1331 27th Street, Des Moines, IA 50311.
Directions on campus: Go to the east end of the painted street in the middle of campus (walking toward Old Main).  Turn left onto 27th Street (walk north).  The International Center is located about half-way down the street on the right-hand side in a gray, wood building (we are located in the same building as Human Resources, but on the south side).  You may call 271-2084 if you have problems locating the International Center and we will help direct you.
