Campus Visit Programs

Drake offers many different types of group visit programs targeted towards prospective students in different stages of the college search process, but all programs allow you to explore several aspects of Drake life in one day. Fall Break Visit Option (Disclaimer)

  • Monday, October 14, 2013
  • Tuesday, October 15, 2013

What do you have in common with Drake students? You may have some time off from school….and so do they! October 14 - 15 is Fall Break at Drake, a mid-point in our semester. Almost all students go home for an extra-long weekend to visit their family. Please be advised that these two days will not be typical: there will be very few students and faculty on campus and no classes will be in session. As a result, special appointments with faculty, coaches or other staff will not be available. For greater learning opportunities and to experience Drake's community, we advise you choose a different day to visit.

If you choose to visit on October 14 or October 15, the Office of Admission will offer an abbreviated visit option that includes only a group campus tour and admission presentation. Your two hour campus visit can start at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Register here.
