Chasing Ice film showing [Special Events]
07:00 PM - 08:30 PM @ Sussman Theater, Olmsted Center, Drake University - James Balog has been a leader in photographing and interpreting the natural environment. To reveal the effects of climate change, Balog founded the Extreme Ice Survey (EIS), the most wide-ranging, ground-based, photographic study of glaciers ever conducted. National Geographic showcased this work in its June 2007 and June 2010 issues. The project is featured in the feature-length documentary, Chasing Ice, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2012.
