Drake students can earn an undergraduate degree and a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in five years in the 4+1 Program. Students interested in becoming Board Certified Behavior Analysts have the option to apply to the Master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis early in their Junior year at Drake University.
Class standing: Junior (60 credit hours)
Minimum overall GPA: 3.0
Prerequisite Coursework:
Students accepted into the Master’s program will begin coursework in the ABA graduate program beginning the fall of their Senior year. Six credit hours of ABA coursework will be completed in the fall semester and an additional six credit hours of ABA coursework will be completed in the student’s final Spring semester.
Courses:
Students should discuss the 4+1 Program with their undergraduate academic advisor. Advisors will assist students to ensure that undergraduate degree requirements are met.
4+1 applicants are required to submit the online application to the Master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis during the fall semester of their Junior year. In addition to the online application, 4+1 students should submit a letter from their undergraduate advisor confirming the student has met the prerequisites for the ABA program.
