You’ve scored an acceptance letter; earned scholarships, grants and financial aid; settled into your residence hall; and are even beginning to bond with your quirky roommate. Now you need to make the most of your academic experience at Drake. We can help.
Access and Success provides the tools and support you need to be the best you can be academically, whether that means a serious need to raise your grade point average or giving you the edge you need to elevate that shaky B to a solid A.
Struggling with one killer class? Many courses offer small group discussion sessions, peer assistance and lab sessions to supplement your classroom experience. If you happen to suffer from SKNHSBS (Smart Kid, Never Had to Study Before Syndrome), you might want to make use of some general success tools. Drake offers a series of seminars each fall semester on topics ranging from study and test-taking strategies to library use and dealing with anxiety.
The bottom line is this: You are not alone. Let us help you excel and make the most of your Drake experience.
To provide the tools you need to empower you to reach your full academic Potential.
