Organizations

Ad Club gives students an opportunity to network with professionals in their field. There is also a nationally recognized chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.

Students also can get valuable communications experience working on the award-winning campus publications: The Times-Delphic, Drake Magazine, and Drake Broadcasting System streaming radio programming. SJMC students frequently do communications work for University Communications and Drake Athletics, and are active in student government and residence life.

There is a campus chapter of the American Marketing Association, and Meredith Hall is home to the Innovation Center, which hosts creative and entrepreneurial events.
