As an educator, I'm dedicated to cultivating equitable learning environments that prioritize the development of critical thinking skills and clinical reasoning. As such, my teaching philosophy centers around empowering students to recognize and leverage their knowledge, skills,  and abilities to tackle complex clinical cases while providing exemplary patient-centered care. In the classroom I prioritize hands-on and problem-based learning activities, ensuring students are well-prepared for their future careers as Athletic Trainers.

Dr. Rogers’ primary line of research aims to explore and mitigate the health and healthcare disparities experienced by LGBTQ+ patients with a focus on the care and support of transgender patients. Dr. Rogers also conducts research involving injury prevention mechanisms for highly active and tactical athlete populations.
