"Step Up and Lead" is designed by professional educators to assist coaches in developing strategies that foster and build effective leadership skills in themselves as well as in the athletes they coach. Course materials will guide coaches to explore the characteristics of leadership, the importance of leadership in team sports, various types of leadership, and the responsibilities of a leader.

The course will also help coaches develop effective techniques to use to encourage appropriate leadership skills in their athletes. Students will complete readings and view video presentations from leading experts in the field and apply what they've learned to their own programs. Practical application assignments are included.

This course is in DVD format which will be sent to you via USPS at no extra cost. You will be required to pay for the return of any DVD's that come to you upon completion of your course.
