Students learn from some of the best coaches and physical educators in the United States. Each course includes practical and applicable suggestions students can use to both further their knowledge and advance in their specific area of specialty. You have up to ONE YEAR to complete your coursework. (See below for more details). All of the courses are offered each semester (fall, spring, and summer).
Graduate credit earned from our courses may be used towards license renewal, salary advancement, or elective credit in degree programs. It is YOUR responsibility to check with your state's BOEE for confirmation.

How to Register:
Coursework Information: These unique, self-paced video courses fit a busy coach and/or PE teacher's schedule. You have up to ONE YEAR to complete the course(s)! This means your due date for the Spring 2025 course(s) will be the following year, April 30, 2026! Since these courses are self-paced, you may take the entire year to complete OR finish and turn your work in at anytime during that year.
Technology Requirements: A personal computer or laptop (coursework is not compatible with mobile devices such as tablets and cell phones), Microsoft Word, a DVD player, and a personal e-mail address (school e-mails are not recommended due to school district firewalls).

CANCELLATION POLICY: We allow 30 days after your enrollment for you to cancel your course and request a refund, but a $50.00 non-refundable processing fee will be assessed per registrant.

Tax Information: Students taking EDMA courses through Continuing Education and Professional Development during the 2024-25 calendar year will receive a 1098T tuition form. It is available for viewing in myDrake. Questions related to the 1098T tuition form should be directed to Student Account Services, (515) 271-4777.
Important Transcript Information: The official transcript will list the course and grade in the semester in which you register/enroll for a course, not the semester in which completed coursework is submitted.
Credit Limit: You may enroll in a maximum of 12 credit hours in one semester through Continuing Education & Professional Development.
Continuing Education Credit: Students seeking to use Real Coaching Courses for recertification or salary advancement should seek prior approval from their school district or appropriate licensing agency.
