Drake University Continuing Education and Professional Development offers online courses for PreK-12 classroom teachers seeking graduate credit for license renewal, salary advancement, or elective credit.

TRAUMA AND SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING

Turning Trauma Into Teachable Moments (EDMA 232)
Graduate Credit - 3 semester hours, $660.00 OR Iowa License Renewal Credit - 3 semester hours, $330.00 (not including the cost of the textbook)‌.
Spring Dates: April 7 - May 4, 2025
Blended Format
*Synchronous (virtual) meetings: TBD from 9:00 am - 11:00 am CST.

Domino Effect
Graduate Credit-1 semester hour, $220.00 (no textbook)‌.
Spring 2025 Dates: January 27 - March 9, 2025

Students seeking to use these courses for recertification or salary advancement should seek prior approval from their school district or appropriate licensing agency. Scroll down for a list of states from which we cannot currently accept registrations, located at the bottom of this page.
