Background: Brian Butler, Pharm.D., MBA, Client Services Director, Des Moines Center of Excellence, began his Catalyst Rx career in 2008 and brings over 8 years of experience in the retail pharmacy industry. In his current role, Brian provides operational oversight and strategic direction for the Wellmark account representing over 1 million lives. Prior to joining Catalyst Rx, Brian served as a primary point of contact for 46 independent pharmacies at Cardinal Health where he provided operational support and guidance. Brian was directly responsible for individual store business plans and implementation of Immunization Clinics, Diabetic Specialized Care Centers, and DMEPOS Accreditation. Brian has also held positions with CVS/pharmacy as Pharmacy Supervisor and District Manager with responsibilities for sales growth, expense control, people development and execution of company initiatives. Brian received his Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration degrees from Drake University.
