TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Teaching doesn’t necessarily equate to learning, nor does studying. Learning takes place when we find something interesting and relevant enough to want to know more. My overarching philosophy is that my role as a teacher is to engage students so that they find the interest and relevance in the material that fuels their learning. This, in turn, allows them to retain the knowledge and use it throughout their lives.
